A 30-year old man was today found murdered in cold blood and dumped near a bar within Ndhiwa Town by members of the public.
Coli Ooro is reported to have been murdered by unknown persons who then dumped his body a few meters away from the bar located along Ndhiwa Sori road in Lower Kayambo Sub Location within Ndhiwa Sub County.
The area assistant chief of Lower Kayambo Sub Location Joseph Agola Ambasa confirmed the incident saying that the body was found in the morning hours by the public who then alerted the clan elder.
He suspected that Ooro was stabbed at night by the culprits who then abandoned his body near the bar before disappearing into the darkness.
“It has not been established whether the deceased was killed inside the bar or some other place before his body was dumped near the bar,” he stated.
The deceased had visible injuries on the head and neck indicating that he might have been attacked using a knife.
Ambasa stated that investigations into the incident have already been launched by Ndhiwa police.
Elsewhere, another body of an old man was found lying near the kiosks at Kowigo trading center in Kiseke Village, West Kwabwai location in Ndhiwa Sub County.
However, the body of Joseph Ogutu had no visible injuries, said the area Chief Joseph Otieno Makoteng’
The two bodies were moved to Homa Bay mortuary awaiting postmortem.
