Khwisero Sub County Security Intelligence Committee is set to meet next week at Khwisero Polytechnic Hall with all aspirants in the area to discuss issues, aimed at ensuring peaceful elections.
Area Deputy County Commissioner John Nyakwara said the consultative meeting will also include Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission officials from the Constituency.
“The briefing is to ensure peaceful campaign in the area by all aspirants vying for various elective posts,” he said.
He noted that various aspirants had been nominated by different parties to vie in the forthcoming general elections and there was need for stakeholders meeting to prepare and offer security during and after the elections.
He called on the populace to vote wisely and said as a committee they will guarantee peaceful election process.
The Administrator was speaking on Wednesday to KNA at his offices in Khwisero Sub County.
