Isiolo Governor Abdi Ibrahim Guyo has nominated a teachers’ trade unionist Dadhe Boru Huka as the County Secretary in his cabinet nominations.
Mr.Dadhe, who has been the Kenya National Union of Teachers, Isiolo branch secretary general replaces Dr. Ahmed Galgallo who was recently fired by the Governor.
Mr Guyo retained former Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries County Executive Committee Member Dr. Lawrence Mwongela who however has been re-deployed to Tourism, Trade, Cooperative and Enterprise while former Isiolo South MP Mr. Abdullahi Banticha was nominated to head finance and economic planning docket.
In a statement read by the county communications director Hussein Salesa, the governor also nominated the acting County Secretary Yusuf Mohamed Galgallo to be CECM for Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Special Programmes.
Another nominee for CECM position and who served in the previous regime as Chief Officer for education is Mrs.Aileen Kajuju Mungira who is to serve as CECM for education, youths, sports, culture and social services department if approved by County Assembly.
Mr Ali Wario Sarite was nominated as executive member for water, sanitation, energy, environment and natural resources while Mr. Yusuf Dahir will head Land, physical planning, roads, transport, Urban development and conflict resolution. The health docket will remain under the deputy governor Dr James Lowassa.
Others from the former Governor Dr Kuti’s regime who benefited from Guyo’s nominations was immediate CECM for Finance and Economic Planning Abdi Hajj Daud who will be advising the governor on economic matters.
Former sports and culture chief officer Mr Gollo Boru will be the governor’s chief advisor on inter-county and national government while election loser for Isiolo North Parliamentary seat and a banker Mr. Abdi Wario Godana will serve as chief advisor on intergovernmental affairs in the governor’s office.
A close aide of former Isiolo Governor Dr Mohamed Kuti, Mr.Abdi Nyabure was appointed as chief executive advisor to the governor.
