A 14-year-old candidate from Bumamu primary school in Butere Sub County is sitting for her exams in a hospital bed after delivering a baby boy.
Area Deputy County Commissioner Mohamed Hassan who was speaking today at his office in Butere Sub County said the pupil will sit for all of her exams in the hospital and arrangements were put in place to ensure she takes the exams.
“We had a few challenges here and there like that one of the young pupil giving birth but all in all the exercise is going on well,” said Hassan.
He further noted that security in the area has been beefed to ensure the exams are done without any hitches and in a peaceful environment.
“We are well prepared to ensure that this exercise goes on smoothly until tomorrow when they finalise their exams,” he said.
