Life care hospital in Bungoma County has awarded the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) top candidate Robinson Makokha Fwaro a shopping voucher and free medical check- ups for the next one year.

Fwaro emerged the best candidate nationally garnering 431marks.

In an interview with the press on Friday, the hospital director Ramesh Murugaswamy lauded Robinson for working hard and posting stellar results in the KCPE examination.

“Life care has taken this initiative to motivate other students,” Ramesh noted.

He said the voucher awarded to the top student will help him buy books and other personal items for use while in school.

Murugaswamy also said that the facility will provide free medical check- ups for Fwaro while in school.

“Life care hospital will do the first check- up before he joins high school in Nairobi,” he said.

Robinson Fwaro said he will work hard to ensure that his dream of becoming a software engineer is realized.

“I’m very humbled, my father has received a lot of calls from friends and other sponsors, this is a rare opportunity and I promise to work harder and post excellent results in my form four exams,” Fwaro affirmed.

Fwaro’s, father, thanked the hospital for the good gesture.

“I have gotten many promises from sponsors and the political class, if all the promises are fulfilled, my son will be able to access education without any challenge,” he said.
