Kenya’s First Lady Rachel Ruto made a grand entrance at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to receive US First Lady Jill Biden. Rachel was accompanied by the East Africa Community (EAC) Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano and other government officials.
The First Lady and her security detail rode in a sleek black Mercedes Benz S-Class (W222) with KDC registration plates series. The car boasts of an exquisite finish and a sleek body shape and is estimated to cost between Ksh20 million to Ksh25 million, depending on importation costs.
One of the standout features of the car is the magic body control system, which uses a camera to survey the road for potholes or bumps and communicates the same to the wheels to minimize shock when cruising. The car is also a high-performance vehicle with a powerful engine, capable of cruising at a maximum speed of 250 kilometers per hour.
The interior of the car is designed with leather seats, and the passages enjoy ample space, especially those seated at the rear. It also has optional electrically adjustable rear seats that offer tailor-made travel comfort, with the backrests of the outer luxury seats reclining to an angle of up to 37 degrees.
Rachel Ruto’s arrival in the Mercedes Benz S-Class (W222) is undoubtedly a show of elegance and class, setting a new standard in official transportation.
