Calling all filmmakers, actors, and movie enthusiasts! It’s time to get your entries in for the Sacramento Pan African Film Festival, also known as Sac-Panafest. This annual festival is a celebration of African and Black cinema from all over the world and is set to take place in Sacramento, California.
Organized by The Africa House, Sacramento, in partnership with the Center for African Peace & Conflict Resolution at California State University, Sacramento, and Naija Films, Sac-Panafest is the ultimate showcase of African and Black cinema. With parties, networking, panels, and discussions, it’s also an opportunity to connect with other creatives and experience the best of Sacramento’s hospitality.
The festival is open to filmmakers from all over the world and accepts entries on Black, African, Human rights, and peace and conflict resolution themes. The organizers are committed to diversity and are looking for films that celebrate different cultures and experiences. However, please note that decisions on films selected or rejected are at the sole discretion of the organizers.
