When Madonna recounted her experiences in Kenya with Samburu warriors participating in
ceremonies during her visit, the internet went into frenzy.
The 64-year-old American singer-songwriter took to Instagram to showcase her travels by
posting pictures and videos of herself participating in the culture.
Madonna donned skin-tight pants, boots, and a printed top while layering up with a rain jacket
and a large turquoise shawl to get into the spirit of the occasion.
She finished off her ensemble with an ornate statement coin necklace, glittering nail extensions,
and a beige cowgirl bonnet.
In a heavily tinted selfie, the singing sensation identified herself as “Mpenzi,” which in Swahili
means “lover,” while a video clip showed her without the filter.
With her 17-year-old son David, 16-year-old daughter Mercy, and 10-year-old twins Stelle and
Estere, the Like A Virgin singer rang in 2023 in Malawi.
All four of David’s children—Mercy, Stelle, and Estere—were adopted by the Material Girl
singer after being born in Malawi.
She also shares custody of Lourdes Leon, 26, and Rocco, 22, who were both born during her
previous marriage to Guy Ritchie.
