Slide into my DM – President Ruto’s daughter at 30th birthday

President William Ruto’s daughter, Charlene Chelagat Ruto, celebrated her 30th
birthday last week with close friends and family. But she didn’t want the celebration to
end there.
The President’s first daughter took to Twitter to ask for suggestions from Kenyan youth
on how they could work together this year to add value to their country.
In her tweet, she said, “For my 30th, I’d wish to get insight from the Kenyan Youth.
Kindly comment or DM the 30 things we can work together on this year to add value to
our country. We will share the top 30 next week.”
Charlene has been actively engaging with the youth through various initiatives and
outreach programs. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Daystar
University and also has a Masters degree that she studied abroad.

Many Kenyans on social media did not know how old she was turning, and she took the
chance to clarify that she was indeed joining the ‘3rd floor’.

“Nimeambiwa niconfirm…so wacha niconfirm (I was told to confirm so yes let me
confirm), Yes it is my birthday today turning 30. Thanking God for the gift of life,” she
said.

As one of the commonly known daughters of President Ruto, Charlene has recently been
seen visiting counties across the country, such as Embu where she posed with Embu
governor, Hon. Cecile Mbarire.
