Residents of West Sakwa location in Bondo sub-county woke up to a shocking incident Tuesday, after the body of a middle aged woman was found around Goma area, along Bondo-Usenge road.
The woman, whose identity is yet to be known is suspected to have been murdered by unknown people and her body dumped by the roadside.
The body was found by children who were going to school before they raised an alarm that attracted members of the public.
National Government Administration Officers from that area were then informed, before they called the police to the scene.
According to Bondo Deputy Sub-County Police commander Mr. Kepher Onkundi, the body which had no visible injuries was later removed by their officers and taken to Bondo Sub-county hospital mortuary to await postmortem and identification.
The deputy police boss who confirmed the incident stated that investigations have already been launched into the matter.
He took the opportunity to call on members of the public whose relatives may have gone missing to visit Bondo sub-county hospital mortuary for identification.
