One person lost his life and 13 others injured after a private matatu they were travelling in lost control and rolled near Nithi Bridge along Meru-Embu highway on Tuesday morning.
Tharaka Nithi County rescue team manager Alex Mugambi confirmed the incident saying the driver lost control of the vehicle and rolled several times near the notorious Nithi Bridge.
“The matatu was ferrying business people from Ruiru and we have rushed them to Chuka General Hospital,” said Alex.
