Police in Bondo Sub County have launched investigations in to the alleged brutal murder of a 27 year old woman by her husband at Got Kaswan village in Bondo sub county Wednesday morning.
The deceased Florence Adhiambo is said to have been killed by her husband identified as Johana Okinyo Otieno after a quarrel.
According to Bondo Deputy Sub County Police Commander Kepha Onkundi, the suspect was in the company of his two cousin brothers identified as Erick Ndaga and Sylvester Otieno during the incident. He added the trio has already been apprehended.
Onkundi disclosed that Adhiambo’s body had serious injuries on the face suggesting that she was physically assaulted.
The police boss advised members of the public to seek alternative dispute resolutions other than resorting to violence whenever there are disagreements at the family level.
Onkundi at the same time said they have beefed up security patrols in Bondo town and surrounding areas in an effort to end incidents of crime in the region. Over the last few months the town and environs have witnessed several murder and shop breakages incidents resulting to public outcry.
The police commander asked members of the public to come out and help police officers fight insecurity by volunteering information that would lead to arrest of criminal elements in the region.
