Kisii aspirant decamps to ODM

The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party got a major boost after the running mate of a Kisii gubernatorial aspirant decamped and opted to back the party’s candidate for the seat Simba Arati.

Dr. Alfred Ndemo who is the running mate of Kenya National Congress gubernatorial candidate for Kisii country Manson Oyongo dropped out in favour of the ODM aspirant Arati

There were celebrations at Motonto village in Monyerero ward, Kitutu
Chache North when news of the development the Arati’s ODM campaign faction.

In what Arati described as a big catch for his bid during their 87th meeting since he started campaigning, Kenya National Congress gubernatorial running mate announced his shift of alliance from Manson Oyongo due to what he described as lack of vision.

The event which was attended by hundreds of people drummed support for Arati and Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga.

Arati described the catch as a big fish which he said had brought good tidings to his ‘winning team’.

Dr. Ndemo said he had made up his mind no matter what other factions placed on the table to lure him back.

Welcoming Ndemo, the Senatorial candidate Richard Momoima Onyonka urged the electorate to vote for him and Arati saying he would play his part well in the Senate. The aspirants appealed for peaceful campaigns and elections.
