Kisumu residents challenged to work with Ruto for development

A gubernatorial candidate in the just concluded elections, Prof Erick Osenya, has appealed to Kisumu residents to work with the President-Elect, William Ruto, for the sake of development.

Osenya, who was running on a UDA ticket expressed optimism that the President-Elect will fulfill all his pre-election pledges to the people of Kenya.

“The Deputy President who is now the President-Elect has been declared the winner and it’s my passionate appeal that the Luo community accepts this fact and moves on,” said Osenya

He called on the Luo people to strive to be part of the elected government, adding the President-Elect has shown readiness to embrace and closely work with everyone.

The professor, however, called on the youth across the country to stop spewing hate messages online and to debunk the ongoing narrative on social media where Raila is being branded a perennial loser, but instead be good example even as they wait for the court process to take its course in terms of the ongoing petition.
