Shinyalu Member of Parliament Justus Kizito has asked his fellow colleagues seeking political seats to tame their tongues and respect offices established by the constitution.
He said those offices like the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) among others, were established to serve Kenyans and not individuals.
Speaking in his constituency, Kizito said the DCI is a critical organ that ensures the safety of the country and Kenyans, whose mandate should not be taken lightly.
“Let us respect those who provide security for us, because the security of the country is very important,” he said.
The MP noted that even though he has been arrested several times for brushing with the security organs, he has seen the importance of cooperating with them.
Kizito also expressed confidence that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission(IEBC) has given all politicians a level playing field during the campaigns with expectation that Kenyans will be given ample time to elect their preferred leaders on August 9, 2022.
