Roots Party boss George Wajackoya has affirmed he will put the Kenya Kwanza government on their toes through oversight.
He was speaking at Bungoma County IEBC offices when he escorted his Roots Party Senatorial candidate Robert Sifuna for clearance.
Wajackoya called on the Kenya Kwanza government to deliver what they promised to Kenyans during the campaigns.
He asked the new Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu to scrap the CBC citing the burden to parents, and also increase teachers’ pay and improve their working environment.
Wajackoya revealed that he still has the ambition to vie for the Country’s top seat in other coming general elections and cautioned President Ruto’s government against changing the constitution to increase the President’s term limit.
Wajackoya asked Bungoma voters to vote for the young generation who he claimed understand the challenges that people are facing.
“We may have started small but we aren’t small in our mindset, Sifuna is very ready to propel Bungoma to the next level,” Wajackoya noted, adding that he will pitch camp in Bungoma to campaign for his candidate.
“I have walked with Sifuna and I have seen something good in him that is why I decided to give him a ticket and support him,” Wajackoya noted.
