Water services have resumed in Masalani town Ijara sub County after three weeks of crisis following disconnection of electricity at the water supply station in Masalani town, Garissa County.
KNA spot check shows water is flowing in most of the taps in town thanks for the efforts of chief officer of water services Mr Ahmed Abdinoor and his Ijara sub county water coordinator Mr Ahmed Hussein who worked tirelessly to reconnect the electricity.
According Ijara water coordinator Mr Ahmed hussein said they had discussion with the Kenya Power and the County government administration of Garissa County till the electricity bill was paid and connected at the water supply.
Mr Hussein appealed to water consumers and other stakeholders holders to pay their Water bill in time to avoid unnecessary disconnection from the Kenya Power in the future.
