CS Owalo Calls for Integrity during Ongoing National Examinations

People who have been delegated with the responsibility of handling the ongoing examinations have been advised to exercise integrity.

Information, Communications and the Digital Economy Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo said the government has done its bit by ensuring that all the examinations’ protocols and rigors are observed during the exams.

“We are proud of the integrity of the exams. Now the integrity of everyone else is on the weighing scale,” said Owalo, noting that how Kenyans behave this season is a test of their integrity and civic conduct.

“Our children are our future. We can all contribute to a successful season by creating the right environment for the examinations and avoiding disruptive behavior,” said Owalo.

The CS was speaking today when he visited Ndurarua Primary School in Dagoretti Sub-County in Nairobi to give a word of encouragement to candidates sitting for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) National Examinations.

“On behalf of President William Ruto I wish all the candidates good health, energy and staying power in this season and the rest of us a sober and supportive festive season,” said Owalo.

“Let us all give the candidates, their families and our entire country, a great Christmas gift by ensuring that anything we could do towards a successful and incident-free exam season, we shall do and avoid anything we should not do,” said Owalo.
