Busia county governor Paul Otuoma has named a ten-member cabinet that he expects to deliver adequate and requisite services to residents.
Addressing the press on Monday, Dr Otuoma unveiled his lineup as follows; Deputy Governor Arthur Papa Odera as county executive member for water and Natural resources and Topista Night Wanyama to Finance and ICT docket.
Other nominees include Peter K.Odima, Lands, Housing and Urban Development, Beatrice Nakholi, Health and Sanitation, Andrew Nakitare, Public Adminstration and Gender Affairs, Paul Olunga Ikwenye, Sports, Culture and Social Services, Pamela Awuori, Education and Vocational Training, Dr.Cymblicious George Mukoo, Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, Climate Change, Blue Economy and Agribusiness, Fidel Omuse Olekachuna, Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperatives and Engineer Andrew Meso for Public Works, Energy and Transport.
He also appointed Solomon Abwaku as his Advisor on Public Administration and Human Resource Management, Ms Melsa Namangale and Lawrence Kuchio as advisers on economy and Legal Affairs respectively.
The governor also named Nur Mohammed Ali as Advisor on Political Guidance & Minority Affairs and Innocent Omboko, as County Attorney.
The Governor said his choices were informed by regional and gender balance, experience and professionalism.
